A caravan in the hills of North Wales with an additional bathroom. There is a covered deck outside. It is at the bottom of my long garden in a secluded grove, out of sight and sound of my small abode. There are no other dwellings nearby. The expansive views do include buildings !
The town of Corwen, Denbighshire is 7 miles away and reachable by train and bus. I collect those without their own transport from the bus. Depending on weather conditions traffic can at times be heard but not seen. There are quiet walks from the caravan.
The nearest general store is about 3 miles away but the basics of herbs and spices, loo roll and cleaning materials are all in situ. There is always a selection of teas, pasta and pulses left behind and I can provide a list of what is there. I generally shop for residents and there is a note system for anyone not wanting to text. There is a small fridge with a freezer box.
There is not a separate meditation space but a shelf with a rupa and night lights and some incense. Depending on the weather you can live outside ! There are meditation cushions and mat and a yoga mat. Although there is not really enough room for serious yoga inside the deck is large.
Inside there are bench seats and a table and outside wicker chairs (with cushions) and a side table. Heating is electric and cooking is by gas and electricity. 2 burners, microwave, kettle and toaster. Water is heated by a gas boiler. The price of gas and electricity is included. There is a shower and flush toilet and basin in the attached bathroom which is reached from the deck.
Bedding is provided.
Walking boots and/ or wellies are recommended. Being tolerant of the presence and sound of sheep and cattle is a must !
I only have people to stay from April to November because of the possibility of the water freezing.
Cost £18 per night
